Jacqueline Y. (Fournier) Jurga

Jacqueline Y. (Fournier) Jurga, 94, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2021. Daughter of the late Elzear and Cecile (Quevillon) Fournier, she was born in Ludlow on June 30, 1926.  A lifelong resident, she worked as a secretary at Monsanto Chemical Company as well as several other local companies.  Jacqueline was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish.

Jacqueline is survived by her sons Mark Jurga (Dawn) of Ludlow, Michael Jurga of Belchertown and her daughter Marilou Pirog (John) of Belchertown. She was predeceased by her husband John Jurga in 1990.

Jacqueline’s family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for the compassionate care they provided to her.

Visiting hours for Jacqueline will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. A service will be held at 11:00 AM followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St, Springfield, MA 01104 or Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA  01101.
