Irene (Vivier) Miller

Irene (Vivier) Miller, 89, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2019.  A lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Angela (Kuc) Vivier.  Educated in Ludlow schools, she worked as a Supervisor at Dow Jones Co. for many years.  She was a devout communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and later St. Elizabeth’s Parish.

Irene is survived by two sons Charles Miller and his wife Marcy Thailer of Waxhaw, NC and Robert Miller of Ludlow.  She also leaves her two beloved grandchildren Alexa and Ian Miller. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Roland Miller in 2011.

Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services for Irene on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 8:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth’s Parish.  Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.  Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 3:00-5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
