Obituary

Irene M. (Kania) Jarvais, 86, formerly of Ludlow, MA passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2017. Born in Chicopee, MA on November 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Patryn) Kania. Educated in local schools, Irene was a longtime Ludlow resident. She was a devout communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow.

Irene is survived by her three daughters Carolyn Lynch and her husband Michael of Alexandria, VA; Cathleen Brady of Arlington, VA and Janet Augusto and her husband Arthur of Cheshire, CT. She also leaves her six beloved grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband George A. Jarvais and her brother Karl Kania.

Service Information

Funeral services celebrating Irene’s life will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 in Christ the King Church, Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
