Irene B. (Ziemian) Boduch

Irene B. Cioci (Ziemian) Boduch 88 of Breezy Knoll Rd. East Longmeadow formerly of Rodgers Ave in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield died Tuesday August 9 in an East Longmeadow nursing home. Born in Indian Orchard, MA August 17, 1922 daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Janeczek) Ziemian. She had worked for New England Telephone Company for many years. She was a Communicant of St. Michael’s Church, and had been a members of the Telephone Pioneers. She was the widow of Mitchell T. Boduch who died in 1977. She is survived by her son Dr. Thomas Boduch and his wife Betty of Kingston, TN and children Josh and Beth. A niece Barbara Wakem and her husband Ted of East Longmeadow with whom she lived, an Aunt Stephanie Posusky of Enfield, CT many nieces and nephews, and cherished grand-nieces and nephews Joey Wakem and his wife Jennifer, Jeffery Wakem and his wife Stacy, and Mark Wakem and his wife Kaitlyn, and Great-grand nieces Mackenzie and Olivia Wakem. Sadly she was predeceased by her sister Wanda Karczmarczyk.
