Gloria J. (DeRosambeau) Borek

Gloria J. (DeRosambeau) Borek 65 of Pondview Drive died Sunday July 25, in the comfort of her home. Born in Chicopee, MA January 12, 1945 daughter of the late Arthur and Rita (Bailey) DeRosambeau. A graduate of Greenfield High School, she had worked for United Technology. Gloria was a Communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church, loved to travel with Virginia Beach being a favorite location. An avid reader, Gloria loved to cook, can and sew. She also loved her collectibles. In recent years she spent time at the Ludlow Senior Center. She will long be remembered for spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Edward T. Borek, her children Kathryn M. Solinas and her husband James of Brookline, NH Karen A. Yarrows and her husband David of Powell, OH Jason L. Borek and his wife Mary Ellen of West Springfield, MA and Jeannine M. Borek of Ludlow, MA Sadly she was pre-deceased by 2 sons Thomas J. Borek who died in 1974 and Paul E. Borek who died in 1986. She is also survived by her brother Arthur DeRosambeau and his wife Linda of North Adams, MA and Rose Jahn of Holyoke. Cherished grandmother of 6. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
