George N. Anderson Jr., 71, of Monson passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019. Born in Adams, MA he was the son of the late George and Bernice (St. Onge) Anderson. Educated in Adams schools, George graduated from Holyoke Community College. He proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. A 30 year Hampden resident, he worked as an accountant for several area firms.
George is survived by his wife Angela (Vance) Anderson of Monson, his son Neil Anderson (Sarah) of Agawam; his daughter Kristin Bein (Matthew) of Belchertown; a brother Bruce Anderson and a sister Wendy Robert. He also leaves his 3 beloved grandchildren Charlotte, Abigail and Ethan. Sadly he was predeceased by his brother James Anderson.

Family and friends are invited to services celebrating George’s life on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 6:30 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Visiting hours at the funeral home will precede the service from 5:00-6:30 PM. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family. George’s family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
