Francis W. Simonoko

Francis W. Simonoko, 93, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2017. Born in Enfield, CT on September 2, 1924, he was the son of the late Stephen and Felicia (Rolla) Simonoko.  Francis proudly served in the U.S. Navy in PT Ron 41 during World War II.  He worked a floor refinisher for many years.  Francis was a communicant of Christ the King Parish in Ludlow.

Francis is survived by five children Michael Simonoko of Wilbraham, Matthew Simonoko and his wife Cathy of Ludlow, Jeanne Ackerman and her husband James of Long Beach, WA, Joyce Duquette and her husband John of Chicopee and Joan Haynes of Palmer; his brother Stanley Simonoko of Enfield, CT and his sister Frances Misialek of West Springfield. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Sadly, he was predeceased by his wife of over 70 years Francine Simonoko in April, 2017
