Frances T. (Marek) Gallo, 82, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. A longtime Ludlow resident, she was born February 1, 1934 in Easthampton, MA. Frances attended the Smith School.
Devoted to her family, Frances was active as a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader. She was a talented crafter who loved to knit and crochet. Her hand-made creations are treasured by her children and grandchildren. A member of local motorcycle clubs, some of her favorite times were spent motorcycling with her late husband Frank.
Frances is survived by her children Frank M. Gallo of Ludlow, Mark A. Gallo of MO, Heidi Bradway of Belchertown and Toni Szalankiewicz of Chicopee as well as her many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband Frank “Sarge” Gallo in 2011.
Visiting hours at the funeral home are Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Services celebrating Frances’ life will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery
