Evelyn A. (Noga) Such, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Born in Ludlow on February 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agata (Zabek) Noga. Educated in local schools, she worked as a tele-type operator for the Springfield Newspapers until her retirement. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow and a member of the parish’s St. Anne Sodality
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Francis Such in 2012, her brothers Stephen and John Noga and her sister Mary Kuzniar. She leaves her nieces and nephew Ronald Kuzniar and his wife Arlene of Westfield; Joan Noga Carroll and her husband Michael of East Longmeadow; Patricia Noga Smith and her husband David of Ocean Isle Beach, NC as well as several great-nieces and nephews. .
Visiting hours for Evelyn will be Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 9:30-10:15 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Warsaw Ave., Ludlow, MA. Burial will be in St, Aloysius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 264 Cottage St., Springfield, MA or www.alz.org.
