Ella M. (Gaudreau) Tetreault

Ella M. (Gaudreau) Tetreault, 96, a lifelong Ludlow resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2019.  Daughter of the late Leodore and Bertha (Barrett) Gaudreau, she was born June 29, 1922.  Educated in local schools, she worked at Monsanto Chemical Co for many years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow where she worked on the annual Meat Pie project for many years.  Ella loved gardening, needlework, stenciling and was a talented toile painter.

She is survived by her nieces Linda Ducharme, Susan Fiore, Ruth Santos (Paul), Shelly Bayton (William), Karen Bognar (Richard) and Annemarie Keefe (Gary), as well as her long time friends Anita Allen, Shirley Amos and Pat and Dave Donovan. Sadly, Ella was predeceased by her husband George Tetreault in 1988 and her sisters Bernadette Bourbeau and Lucille Hiersche.

Visiting hours for Ella will be Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth’s Parish.  Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Ave., Springfield, MA.  Donations in Ella’s memory may be made St. St. Elizabeth’s Parish, 181 Hubbard St., Ludlow, MA 01056
