Obituary

Elizabeth A. Matson 65 resident of Chicopee for many years, died Friday July 2, in a South Hadley nursing home. Born in Boston, MA November 2, 1944 she was the daughter of Andrew W. and the late Isobel (McTaggart) Matson. Educated in Chicopee Schools, she was a graduate of Chicopee High School, and studied Veterinarian Medicine at Kansas State University. Elizabeth was a devoted and faithful Communicant of Christ the King Church. Elizabeth is survived by her sisters Rosanne Welshimer of Bronxville, NY and Kathryn J. Rae of Port Saint Lucie, FL . She is also survived by 3 nephews and 1 niece, 2 grandnephews, and 3 grandnieces. Family and friends may call at the funeral home

Service Information

Funeral Services Celebrating her life will be Friday July 9 at 10:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church 41 Warsaw Avenue, Ludlow at 11 AM. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee.
