Eleanor (Lopes) Slosek, 103, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Born in Falmouth, MA on June, 9, 1918, she was one of the nine children of the late Joaquim and Anna (Pimental) Lopes.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter Sandy Carrillo of CA and her brother Richard Lopes and his wife Madeline of Falmouth as well as many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband Stanley Slosek in 2014 and her daughter Johanna “Jody” Uskovich.
Funeral services for Eleanor will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

My mother, Georgiana, has been friends with Eleanor since their daughters were friends prior to Jodi's passing. Eleanor was always a positive, sweet, loving, caring, funny, generous, nurturing woman. We love her very much. The world has lost a beautiful person.
