Obituary

Edward J. Perreault 79 of Ludlow died Monday, August 13, 2012, in the care and comfort of his home. Born in Chicopee Falls, MA, October 15, 1932, son of the late Cleophus and Rose (Landry) Perreault. Ed proudly served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Navy. A Communicant of Christ the King Church, he had worked as a laboratory technician with many years of service for Hamilton Standard in Winsor Locks, CT He was a past member of the Ludlow Lodge of Elks B.P.O.E. 2448, and had served the Town of Ludlow as a precinct member. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Julia L. (Makowicz) Perreault, father of Edward J. Perreault and Paul W. Perreault and his wife Leslie all of Ludlow. Brother of Richard Perreault of Ludlow, Jeanette Crawford of Springfield, and Elaine Gauthier of Chicopee. Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Lindsay, Ryan, and Noel Perreault. Sadly he was predeceased by his siblings Robert and Donald Perreault, Doris Shevlin, and Shirley Lamb.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be Friday August 17, 2012 at 8:45 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church 41 Warsaw Avenue Ludlow at 10 AM Rites of committal with military honors will follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
