Timeline for Edward C. Napierski

Edward C. Napierski, 74, of Ludlow, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Son of the late Jan and Krystyna Napierski, he was born in Leeds, England on July 25, 1950. His family immigrated to the U.S. when he was 5 years old settling in Indian Orchard. Ed attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from the former Springfield Trade High School and STCC. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as an electronics technician for Long Radio for many years then as maintenance manager for Immaculate Conception Church and WestMass Elder Care. Ed loved fishing and the outdoors. He was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow
Ed leaves his beloved wife of 50 years Martha (Hathaway) Napierski of Ludlow; two sons Mathew Napierski (Jeni Hayden) of Attleboro, Ma and Christopher Napierski (Chalisa) of Oakdale, CT and his sister Lucy Obrzut of Ludlow. He also leaves his grandsons Noah and Gideon Napierski as well as extended family in Poland and his aunt Alice Field. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law Walter Obrzut Jr.
Visiting hours for Ed will be Monday, April 14, 2025 from 10:30-11:15 AM in Christ the King Church, 41 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will be at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Main St, Agawam, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s memory may be made to Christ the King Church.

Ed was such a good, decent man who loved Martha for over 50 years and he was a loving and caring father and grandfather. The world is missing a good man and I will always remember his good sense of humor and eagerness to help others in need. Rest in peace my friend.
