Donna U. (Luszcz) Bottum 58 of Stebbins St. Ludlow died Wednesday evening in Baystate Medical Center of Springfield. Born in Hamburg, Germany February 20, 1951 she was the daughter of Pauline (Tomala) Luszcz and the late Joseph Luszcz who died in August 22, 1980 she has lived in Ludlow for most of her life was educated in local schools, and was a Communicant of Christ the King Church. Donna was the head cook at Health South in Ludlow with many years of service. She will long be remembered for her love of her home, yard, and especially her flower garden in which she spent countless hours with her mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years James T. Bottum, her cherished children Joseph and Julie Bottum all of Ludlow, Her mother Pauline (Tomala) Luszcz, her brothers Alfred Luszcz, Henry Luszcz, and John Luszcz all of Ludlow and Edward Luszcz of Aiken, SC sisters Christine Davis of Ludlow, Anna Fonts of Yarmouthport, MA and Teresa Balsk of Wilbraham. Also survived by many adored nieces and nephews that were truly a special part of her life. She also leaves many extended family members and friends. Sadly she was predeceased by her brothers Richard S. Luszcz December 21, 1988 and Peter P. Luszcz who died December 24, 2002.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be Monday August 31, 2009 at 10:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church 41 Warsaw Avenue Ludlow, MA at 11 AM.
