Barbara E. (Dunn) Cant 86 of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield died May 22, 2012, in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Lynn September 15, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Ellena (Nelson) Dunn. Educated in local schools she was a 1944 graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She was a member of Christ Church Cathedral, and the widow of Henry Cant who died in 1965. A widow at a young age she raised 3 wonderful children on her own. Barbara had a zest for life. She enjoyed summer in Nahant and traveling in general. She is survived by her loving family. Children Roger Cant, James Cant, and Marcia Hanke. Grandchildren Kayla & Kerra Hanke. Her brother Henry Dunn. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be Friday, May 25, 2012, at 1PM in Christ Church Cathedral 35 Chestnut St. Springfield. Burial will be in the World War II section of Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, MA, at 11 AM on July 2, 2012.
