Armando Salvador, 97, of Ludlow, passed away on Thursday February 2, 2023. Born in Oura, Portugal, he was the son of the late Maximino and Palmira (Carneiro) Salvador. He worked for many years as a machine operator at Moore Drop Forge and retired from Danaher Tool Co. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Ludlow.
Armando is survived by four sons Antonio Salvador (Maria), Maximino Salvador(Robyn), Horacio Salvador (Michelle), Fernando Salvador (Kelley); three daughters Maria Zina (Augusto), Lisa Lauer (Kevin) and Yvette Anselmo (Joe); his brother Joaquim Salvador and his sister Cacilda Ferreira. He also leaves his 13 beloved grandchildren Max, Jennifer, Nancy, Armando, Vanessa, Stacy, Anthony, Nicholas, Samantha, Alexa, Allison, Abigail and Gina; also 14 great- grandchildren.
Sadly, he was predeceased by his wife Maria Alice Salvador in 2003, his grandson Paulo Salvador Zina in 2008, and his brothers Jose, Fernando, Francisco, Horacio, Delmino and his sister Miquelina.

Funeral services for Armando will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 at 9:00AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Winsor St., Ludlow, MA. Rights of Committal will be in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 PM. Donations in Armando’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
