Antonio Dias Santos 60 of East St. Ludlow died Wednesday evening March 17 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Chaves, Portugal son of the late Jose and Aurinda (Dias) Santos, he has lived in Ludlow for many years. He was employed by the Danaher Tool, a division of the Kolmorgan Group with over 35 years of dedicated service. He was a Communicant of the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth. An accomplished keyboard musician, he was a member of the band Cold Wind and later a member of New Idea. he is survived by his wife Lynn (Pereira) Santos, his children Todd A. Santos of Ludlow and Amanda C. Santos and her fiance R. Scribner Malloni of Winter Park, FL. Brother of Jorge D., Armando D., David D., and Andre D. Santos Irene Batista and Florinda Chaves all of Ludlow, and Adriano D. Santos, Alzira Mesquita and Leonore Romao all of Valdanta, Portugal. Also survived by many extended family members and friends. Sadly he was predeceased by a brother Joao D. Santos.

Funeral Services Celebrating his Life will be Monday March 22, 2010 with family and friends gathering at 8:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial Celebrated by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St. Ludlow at 10 AM. Msgr. Homer P. Gosselin will preside. It was Antonio’s wish that Rites of Committal in Island Pond Cemetery be private for family.
