Obituary

Anthony E, Minich, 71 of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 19, 2022.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  After leaving the Army, he was an electrician at Monsanto for 25 years and then at UMass Amherst for 10 years.  He loved spending time with his family and family trips were always his favorite.  He was known as the nicest guy by all who met him and as “that guy” by his family.

Anthony leaves behind his wife of 46 years Linda (Harris) Minich; his daughter Sara Sweeney and her husband James; his son Jason Minich and his wife Trisha; his son Jacob Minich and his “bonus” daughter Shelby Anderson.  He also leaves his grandchildren Evan, Neva, Kyra Desiree, Nate, Penelope and Anthony (AJ), along with many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Visiting hours for Anthony will be Friday, August 26, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA.  Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.

Tony always came over to my house whenever I needed him. He was truly one of the kindest and nicest people I have ever met in my life. I am grateful for having known him and the time that we shared. I will miss him, but I will always smile when I think of him.
