Ann S. Bednarzyk, 94, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2018. Daughter of the late John and Julia (Kras) Bednarzyk, she was born on May 16, 1924. A lifelong resident, she was a graduate of Ludlow High School. Ann proudly served her country as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard SPARS during World War II. She went on to work as a legal secretary for the firm of Robinson, Donovan PC for many years. A communicant of Christ the King Church, Ann was active in the St. Ann Sodality, the Rosary Sodality and the Daughters of Christ the King.
Ann is survived by her beloved sister Sr. Mary Romuald CSSF as well as many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her brothers Stanley, Benny, Joseph and Walter Bednarzyk and her sisters Emily Gorecki and Helen Santinelli.
Visiting hours for Ann will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA
A.Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ann will be celebrated Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Warsaw Avenue, Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
