Obituary

Anita H. (Koczur) Kupiec, 81, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late John and Amelia (Wozniakowski) Koczur, she was born in Ware, MA on January 29, 1937.  Anita graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1957.  She then dedicated the next 40 plus years of her life to the care of others as a nurse/nurse manager at Mercy Medical Center.  She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish in Ludlow, serving as President of the Ladies Guild for two years.  Anita loved the Red Sox, polka dancing, especially “polka weekend” trips.

Anita is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years Mitchell Kupiec of Ludlow; 3 sons Michael Kupiec (Darlene) of Springfield, Edward Kupiec of Monson and Mitchell S. Kupiec (Ellen) of Feeding Hills.  She also leaves her 7 beloved grandchildren Amanda, Nicholas, Gregory, Kristin, Stephanie, Nicholas and Alexis as well as her great-granddaughters Hanna and Haley. Sadly, Anita was predeceased by her brother John (Jake) Koczur

Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 PM.


Service Information

Funeral Services celebrating Anita’s life will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 9:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Springfield, MA.
