Andre D. Santos, 63, of Ludlow, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. Born in Valdanta Chaves, Portugal on April 24, 1955, he was the son of the late Jose and Aurinda (Dias) Santos. A graduate of Ludlow High School, Andre worked for the former Danaher Tool Group, retiring in 2005. Andre’s greatest loves were his family and music, as lead guitarist and songwriter with his brothers in the bands Coldwind and New Idea. He was a communicant of our Lady of Fatima Church.
Andre is survived by his siblings Jorge Santos (Vicky), Armand Santos (Pat), David Santos (Celeste), Irene Batista (Joaquim) and Florinda Chaves, all of Ludlow; Adriano Santos, Alzira Mesquita and Lenore Ramao, all of Valdanta, Portugal and his sisters-in-law Lynn Santos and Laura Santos, both of Ludlow. Andre also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. Sadly, he was predeceased by his brothers Joao and Antonio Santos.

Visiting hours for Andre will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Andre will be celebrated on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery.
