Zofia Salacinska

Zofia(Nowecka) Salacinska of Chicopee passed away at home on Friday, November 7, 2014. Born in Poland on October 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Stefan and Stefania(Maciejewska) Nowecki. She was the widow of Ryszard Salacinski.

Zofia is survived by two sons Rafal Salacinski and his wife Aneta of Chicopee and Piotr Salacinski and hus wife Agnieszka of Poland: one daughter Agnieszka Myszkowska and her husband Dariusz of Poland; a brother Miroslaw Nowecki of Poland and two sisters: Wieslawa Lesniak of Chicopee and Teresa Zajac of Poland. She also leaves her eight beloved grandchildren Nicole, Vanessa, Natalia, Patrycja, Bartek, Filip, Marta and Michal.

Zofia was full of life and happiness. She worked as a seamstress for many years. She was always smiling and carrying around a positive attitude and energy. Zofia enjoyed going dancing with her life companion Ryszard Kowalski. She loved cooking and sharing meals with her family and friends. She most loved helping and giving to others. Spoiling her grandchildren with gifts and clothes was her specialty. She was very much loved and will be missed more than words can say
