Wanda (Gwozdzik) Krzyzek, 93, of Ludlow passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. Born on March 7, 1922, to the late John and Nellie Gwozdzik, Wanda lived most of her life in Ludlow, Ma. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and a faithful friend. Wanda did not know a stranger.
Wanda is survived by her loving children: her son Walter Krzyzek and his wife Marilyn of Las Vegas, NV; her daughter Linda Galica and her husband James of Chicopee, MA and her daughter-in law Annette Krzyzek of Ludlow, MA. She also leaves nine beloved grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many devoted friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Theodore in 2002 and her son Theodore (Taj) in 1998.
Wanda was a devout communicant of Christ the King Church in Ludlow. She lived out her faith and spent her life living a life of service. She truly knew how to give and how to love. She spread joy and encouragement everywhere she went. She enjoyed traveling and being in fellowship with others.
Above all else, her passion for her family and her dear friends were her greatest joy and we cherish the many memories of her generous and giving heart. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Wanda will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall Street, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Christ the King Church, 41 Warsaw Avenue, Ludlow, MA 01056. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Berkshire Avenue, Indian Orchard, MA.
