Obituary

Walter L. (Wladz) Obrzut Jr., 70, of Ludlow passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Born in Ludlow on July 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Boduch) Obrzut. A lifelong resident, Walter attended Ludlow High School. He worked in maintenance for several local construction companies and most recently for Christ the King Church in Ludlow.

Walter was a communicant of Christ the King Church. An avid sportsman, Walter loved hunting, fishing, gardening and golf. He loved animals, especially his cats as well as his special outdoor animals. He was a member of the Chicopee Sportsmans Club, the Ludlow Fish and Game Club and the Polish American Citizens Club. Walter loved the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and playing his numbers.

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Lucy (Napierski) Obrzut, his mother-in-law Krystyna Napierski, his devoted brother-in-law Edward Napierski and his sister-in-law Martha of Ludlow; three nephews Christopher and Mathew Napierski, Christopher Frazee and his niece Theresa Chaney. He also leaves many cousins, including his special cousin Michael Obrzut, along with his friends at the Open Door. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister Barbara Frazee and many aunts and uncles
