Ronald Haynes

Ronald S. Haynes, 74, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully Friday, January 2, 2015. Born July 22, 1940 in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Stanley and Flora (Cummings) Haynes. He grew up on Lake Lashway in Brookfield, MA, where he was active in Boys Scouts and played basketball.

Ronald worked for many years at Monsanto Chemical Co. He was a ham radio and radio airplane enthusiast, spending many years as a member of the 10-10 Ham Radio Club; Pioneer Valley Radio Airplane Club and the Springfield Model Yacht Club. He loved bass fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife Joan (Simonoko) (Hill) Haynes; his son Brian Haynes and his companion Dani Keith of New Baltimore, MI; a daughter Melody Haynes of Sarasota, FL; step-children Archie Hill Jr. and Katelyn Linder( Bruce) both of Agawam; and a sister Marian McCarthy of Chatham, MA. Ronald also leaves his beloved grandchildren Collin, Eila and Owen. Sadly he was pre-deceased by his brother Terry Haynes in 2009
