Obituary

Ronald A. Ramos, 74, of Brimfield passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Born in Ludlow on March 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Armand and Alice (Roberge) Ramos.  A graduate of Palmer High School, Ronald graduated from Wentworth Institute with a degree in Engineering.  He worked at Pratt & Whitney, CPC Engineering and Southbridge Sheet Metal until his retirement.  Ronald was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Ludlow.  He enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, working on cars, going to Gil’s gym in Palmer and playing the accordion with his family.  His most treasured times were those spent with his family. He was especially interested and invested in his granddaughter’s activities and schooling.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Jean (Roman) Ramos of Brimfield, his daughter Deborah Bessette and granddaughter Danielle Bessette, both of Palmer, his sister Lorraine Letendre (Norman) of FL and 2 nieces Michelle Morgan and Julie Bulzone, both of FL.

Ronald’s family would like to thank the Franklin Terrance staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for the wonderful care given to him.

Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday, November 3, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.


Service Information

Funeral services for Ronald will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St, Elizabeth’s Parish, Hubbard St, Ludlow, MA.  Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Palmer, MA.
