Obituary

Ralph E. Linton 83 of Ludlow and Waymart, PA a member of the Greatest Generation died November 14, 2012, in Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA Born in Holyoke, MA, January 24, 1929, son of the late Ralph D. and Gladys (Clark) Linton. Educated in local schools he proudly served his country during WW II as a member of the United States Navy. He was the former owner of Community Sales and Service, and will be long remembered as the owner operator of the Villa Rose Restaurant in Ludlow. He was a past member of the Ludlow VFW and a member of the Ludlow Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne M. (Wilson) Linton. His children, Norman Linton and his wife Kathy of Wilbraham, MA Barry Linton and his wife Colleen of Ludlow, MA Laura Prokop of Ludlow, MA Martha Bender and her husband Corkey of Waymart, PA Sheri Goodreau and her husband Mitch of Stafford, VA. Grandfather of Mark Prokop, Marcy Egan and her husband Bill, Daniel Linton, Andrew Linton, Michael Linton and his wife Juile, Ryan Linton, Jason Linton-Benderand his special friend Heather Pridemore, Matthew Goodreau and Adam Goodreau. Cherished greatgrandfather of Carissa, Billy, Dylan, Liam and Patrick.
