Maurice W. Landry 88 of Ludlow died Wednesday September 18, 2013 in the care and comfort of his home. Born in Ludlow,MA November 2, 1924 son of the late Wilfred and Celina (Forkey) Landry. Educated in local schools, he proudly served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Navy. Maurice worked for Monsanto Chemical Company with many years of service. He was a member of their 25 year club. A communicant of St. Elizabeth pparish, he love to fish and was an avid wood worker. On August 21, 1948 he married Madeleine Boucher Landry, sadly she passed away December 18, 2012. The entire Landry Family wishes to thank the entire staff of Mercy Hospice for their care and compassion during Maurice’s journey home. Your kindness will never be forgotten. He is survived by sons Thomas Landry and his wife Patricia of Chicopee, Gary Landry of Indian Orchard, and Gerald Landry of Ludlow. Daughters Susan Janes of Ludlow, Laurie Trowbridge and her husband Cornielus of Ludlow, and Maureen Nahorniak of Belchertown, MA . Cherished grand father of Angela Landry, Amber Janes, Sarah Nahorniak, Jason Nahorniak, Channing, Stefanie and Justine Trowbridge, and Rebecca Landry. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be Monday September 23, 2013 at 10:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial Offered by the Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth in St. John the Baptist Church at 11 AM.
