Mary (Fierlit) Wrona age 99 of Wilbraham, died Friday February 22 in Wilbraham with her niece Janet Chaconas by her side. Born In Springfield, MA October 11, 1913, Mary was the daughter of the late Jan and Catherine (Gasiorek) Fierlit. She attended Springfield schools, and worked at the United States Envelope Company as a young lady. Mary then moved to Ludlow, where she spent most of her life before moving to Wilbraham in 2007. She was known by many as ‘the flower lady on Center Street. Mary was predeceased by her husband Stanley Wrona in 1990, her brother Walter Fierlit in 1973, her sisters Amelia Forkey in 1985, and Stella Bergeron in 2011. Mary leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and a loving extended family at Orchard Valley at Wilbraham, and her friends at Guardian Hospice who helped make her journey a peaceful one.
