I remember Kristi from growing up I spent a lot of time at Ed Liblin's, and remember Kristi and her family from those days. I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know Krisi again in our adult life when I started working for Iowa Dept of Public Health. Every time I talked with Kristi it was like going back to the farm, and the fond menories of a simplier life. Kristi would say not everyone understands the importance of mushroom hunting! No matter what the topic Kristi had a great way of putting things into prespective, in a nurturing way that always made me feel better. She had a great love of life and her family. I will miss Kristi but know there was an important project in heaven.

Mike, You know how much you and Kristi mean to me. You made my job so special and not only did I meet two wonderful customers, I walked away with two very dear friends. Kristi was our baby boy's biggest fan. I will never forget that about her. She would gush about Reese like he was her own. That is how Kristi was--she opened her heart and soul to everyone she met. And everyone she met was her friend and she truly cared about them. I will always cherish sitting with you and Kristi in that corner booth and having the BEST conversations. Moe, Reese, and I are so truly sorry. Kristi was a dear friend and I will miss her so much. She is with all of us because it would be selfish of God to keep all of her to himself. She is now our angel and I know she is watching over us. Please take care and we love you, Mike. Sincerely, Jess, Moe, and Reese

Mike and family, I can hardly find the words to express just how much Kristi meant to me. I truly appreciated her faith in my abilities, the enormity of her generosity and her warmth in friendship. I can truly say I'm a better person because I knew her. I know how important family was to Kristi. It has been wonderful to know Kristi and a pleasure to get to know some of the rest of the people who have meant so much to her. My deepest sympathy and respect. Sheila Hlas
