Maria (Surowiec) Widor

Maria (Surowiec) Widor, 62, of Wilbraham, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2017. Daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Jozefa (Sroka) Surowiec, she was born in Dabrowa Tarnowska, Poland on January 12, 1955. She was educated in Poland and worked at Westvaco Manufacturing for many years.

Maria is survived by husband Eugene Widor of Wilbraham, her son Mark Widor of Wilbraham, two daughters Malgorzata Wadas and her husband Stanley of Ludlow and Danuta Widor of Springfield and her grandsons Jacob and Thomas.  She also leaves her brother Tadeuz Surowiec of Chicopee, her sister Krystina Rzeznik of Poland, her sisters-in-law Izabella Surowiec of Easthampton, Stanislawa Surowiec of Poland, Mary Long and her husband Donald, Czeslawa Widor  and her brother-in-law Kazimierz Widor and his wife Irena all of Ludlow. Sadly she was predeceased by her brothers Benedykt, Andrezj, Roman, Stanislaw and Mieczyslaw Surowiec and her sister Teresa Dynak.

Funeral Services for Maria will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 8:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, 41 Warsaw Ave, Ludlow, MA.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Springfield, MA. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM.  Donations in Maria’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
