Lewis G. Podgorski 81 of Wilbraham died December 7, 2012, at home. Born in Ludlow October 9, 1931, son of the late Felix and Helen (Golasiewski) Podgorski. Educated in local schools he was a graduate of Springfield Trade High School. He proudly served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army. He later worked for Monsanto Chemical Company for over 35 years. He was an avid hunter and golfer. He was the husband of the late Frances (Argiro) who died in 1989. He is survived by a son Lewis J. Podgorski of Springfield, MA, and half son Robert Dulude of Brattleboro, VT 2 half daughters Patricia Dulude of Albany, NY Barbara Moran of Agawam, MA. Brother of Raymond Podgorski of Alexandria, VA Arthur Podgorski, John Podgorski of Agawam, MA, and Arnold Podgorski of Indian Orchard, MA, Grandfather of 4, great-grandfather of 2. Also survived by extended family members and friends. Sadly he was predeceased by a half daughter Judy Cook.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow Msgr. Home P, Gosselin will preside. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
