Obituary

John M. Skura, 71, of Ludlow passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 15, 2016.  Born in Ludlow on January 29, 1945 he was the son of the late Stanley and Jennie (Kowal) Skura.  A lifelong resident, John graduated from Cathedral High School and received his B.S. in Business Administration from Western New England College.  He worked as a truck driver for several area construction companies, most recently C & G Construction.

 

John’s true passion was being on the water. He was a longtime member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxilliary.

 

John is survived by his brother Steven Skura and his wife Robin of Ludlow, his sister-in-law Dolores Skura of Chicopee and his nieces and nephew Stanley Skura of Colrain, Carol Coulter of Tucson, AZ, Theresa Skura of Chicopee, Andrea Skura and Sarah Skura both of Ludlow . In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Stanley Skura.
