Obituary

Jeannette A. (Fredette) Tessier, 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was born in Springfield, MA on October 18, 1927. A lifelong resident, Jeannette worked as an assembler for Service Rubber for many years. She was a longtime communicant of the former St. Aloysius parish in Indian Orchard. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a chorus. In addition to music and singing, Jeannette loved cake decorating, animals and nature

Jeannette is survived by her daughters Louise Sedona and Rose Bojarski, both of Springfield. She also leaves her 6 beloved grandchildren; Timothy, Robert and Todd Drost; Jason and Scott Guyette and Sarah Milley as well as 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM.


Service Information

Funeral services for Jeannette will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Parish, 617 Boston Road, Springfield, MA. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.


Donation Information

In lieu of flowers, Jeannette’s family requests that donations in her memory be made to the T.J. O’Conner Animal Shelter, 627 Cottage St. Springfield, MA 01104 or the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
