Obituary

Jan Wieslaw Widor 73 of Ludlow died Tuesday August 6, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Cwikow, Poland on May 1, 1940 son of the Julia (Zielonka) Widor, and the late Jan Widor. He had worked as the Assistant Director of STW Transportation in Poland, and had worked locally at Manage Inc. of Chicopee. He was a Communicant of Christ the King Church. He loved a good game of bridge, chess or bingo, and enjoyed playing the accordion and piano, but truly cherished the time spent with his family. He is survived by his cherished wife Czeslawa (Zych) Widor, A son Pawel Widor and his wife Gosia of Wilbraham, MA a daughter Jolanta Widor-Axas of Ludlow. Sister Mary Long and her husband Donald of Ludlow, brothers Eugene Widor and his wife Mary of Wilbraham, MA Kazimierz Widor and his wife Irene of Ludlow, MA Sister in Law Krystyna Widor of Ludlow. Devoted grandfather of Ania Axas. Also survived by extended family members and friends. Sadly he was pre-deceased by a brother Edward Widor.

Service Information

Funeral services celebrating his life will be Friday August 9, 2013 at 9:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church at 10 AM. Rites of committal will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
