Helen S. (Fisiak) Los

WILBRAHAM- Helen S. (Fisiak) Los 87 of Old Boston Rd Wilbraham, MA died Wednesday August 1, 2007 at her home. Born in Ludlow, MA March 17, 1920 she was the daughter of the late George and Anna(Pappa) Fisiak. A graduate of Ludlow High School, she was faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Indian Orchard for over 66 years, Helen was active in numerous community and civic organizations in the Town of Wilbraham, she also served many years as a election poll worker. She had worked for over 28 years in the Hampden Wilbraham Regional School District as a cafeteria manager, and was also the first crossing guard in the Town of Wilbraham, having been appointed and trained by the late Sgt. John Chrzanowski and Sgt. Alton McDonald. Helen had also been an active member of the Ukrainian dance troop, having performed for President Calvin Coolidge in Northampton. Her family will never forget Kathy Whitney RN of Mercy Hospital VNA, their special angel for all of her loving care given to Helen, and To Fr. Paul of Immaculate Conception Church and to Fr. Raymond Soltys of Christ the King Church for their words of comfort and care in the past days. Her husband Frederick T. Red Los died July 11, 1999. Helen is survived by her loving daughters Barbara Ann Los and Beverly S. Grondalski and her husband Louis A. all of Wilbraham. Grandmother of Daniel P. and Brian M. Grondalski. Helen is also survived my many extended family members and friends.
