Genevieve A. (Tomczyk) Czapienski

Genevieve A. (Tomczyk) Czapienski 85 of Ludlow died Thursday July 25, 2013 at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. Born in Ludlow September 5, 1927 daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Falkiewicz) Tomczyk. Educated in local schools, she was employed by the Springfield Armory and then at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company with over 38 years of service. She was a member of it’s Quarter Century Club. A faithful and active Communicant Church, she was a member of the Daughters of Christ the King, the St. Anne’s Sodality, the Rosary Sodality, and was a longtime member of the Bingo Committee, and was a member of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. She was also a member of the friends of the Hubbard Memorial Library. She was the widow of Alexander J. Czapienski who died April 29, 2011. She is survived by her son Thomas Czapienski and his wife Lorraine of Ludlow, her cherished grandson Brian Czapienski and his wife Natalya, and her great-grandchildren Aidan and Layla. Also survived by a sister in law Irene Dudek of , AZ.
