Obituary

Fred Sroka 82 of Ludlow died Sunday Aril 29, 2012 on the farm that he loved in the care and comfort of his home. Born in Ludlow December 11, 1929, son of the late John and Mary (Czupta) Sroka. Educated in local schools, he was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. he was a self employed farmer and owner of Sroka Farm. He was a Communicant of Christ the King Church. He is survived by his wife Susan (Sassi) Sroka, stepchildren Peter Mathisen and his wife Kim of Wilbraham, James Mathisen and his wife Becky of Ludlow, and Kerri Niemiec and her husband Tom of Chicopee. His sisters Helen Slicer of Ludlow and Stella Marois of Windsor Locks, CT. Step-grandfather of Julia and Daniella Niemiec, and Christopher Mathisen. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
