Frank A. Bator 84 a Life long resident of Ludlow and a member of the Greatest Generation died peacefully August 23 in the care and comfort of his home, on his late wife Adele’s 82 birthday. Frank was a much loved father and devoted husband to his Childhood Sweetheart of 63 years, Adele (Dyl) Bator. He was the son of the late Katherine (Pierog) and Adam Bator. He was predeceased by his six older siblings. Frank was a true family man, he worked every day of his life to support his beautiful wife and children. He was well know and loved in his home Town of Ludlow, he always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. Frank was loyal to his country and proudly served his country, serving in the Navy in World War II and as a Sergeant in the Army in the Korean War. Frank was proud of his veteran status,and always gave graciously to homeless or disabled veterans. Frank is survived by his loving children, Frank D. Bator Jr. and Toni Ann J. Bator.

Funeral services Celebrating his life will be Friday August 26 at 10:30 AM from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall ST. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Christ the King Church at 11 AM. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will follow in Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery Agawam.
