Elizabeth E. (Rivers) Surprenant

Springfield – Elizabeth E. (Rivers) Surprenant 85 of 42 Kulig St. Springfield died Monday September 13, 2005 at her home with her loving family surrounding her. Born in Springfield, May 20, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary L. (Roberts) Rivers. She had lived in Springfield all of her life. Elizabeth was a retired secretary for the former Joeal Tool Co. Inc of Springfield. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed reading,crocheting, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was the widow of Joseph E. Surprenant Sr. who died in 1987. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, including her children, retired Wilbraham Fire Chief Joseph E. Surprenant Jr., and his wife Kathleen, Harvey R Suprenant and his wife Sally all of Springfield, Richard A. Surprenant and his wife Carol of Warwick, RI Gary A.
