Edward J. (Echo) Bizon, 93, of Chicopee Falls passed away peacefully Thursday, April 14, 2016. Born in Chicopee, November 28, 1922 he was the son of the late John and Stella (Wolowicz) Bizon. Educated in Chicopee schools, he proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Armys 514th Ordinance Heavy Maintenance Company during World War II with service in Normandy and Rhineland. He worked for many years in the parts department of Savage Arms in Westfield.
He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Basilica in Chicopee.
Echo loved his family and will forever be remembered for his generosity toward all his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his sisters Helen Janocha and Evelyn Tenczar and her husband Richard all of Chicopee. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Sadly he was predeceased by his brothers Max, Edwin and Chester Bizon.
Funeral Services for Edward will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA. Rites of Committal with Military Honors will follow in St. Stanislaus B.M. Cemetery, Montgomery St, Chicopee, MA.
