Obituary

Edna A. O’Brien-Gavin of Clearwater, Florida was called home on March 25, 2012, surrounded by those that loved her after a brief illness. She was born in Saranac Lake, New York on April 29, 1929, to Henry Z. Provost and Leah Provost. She graduated from Technical High School in 1947. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas O’Brien, her daughters Cynthia O’Brien, Nancy (O’Keefe) O’Brien and her son Kevin O’Brien and also her husband William Gavin. She is survived by her daughter Sheila Powis of Clearwater, Florida and Shawn O’Brien of Springfield, Mass and her grandchildren David O’Keefe, Colleen O’Brien, Jennifer Sirois, Mary O’Keefe, Christopher O’Brien, Sarah O’Brien, and Thomas O’Brien, her great-grandchildren Natalie and Landon
She lived in Ludlow for many years and was a Member of the Catholic Community of at St. Elizabeth. A private burial was held and a Mass in her honor is being held April 25, 2012 at St. John The Baptist Church 181 Hubbard St. Ludlow A at 7:30 AM. information, directions and on line guestbook.
