Obituary

Dorothy E. (Gildersleeve) Peacey 91 of Ludlow died Sunday October 27, 2013 in the care and comfort of her home. Born in Springfield, MA November 9, 1921 daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred (Worthington) Gildersleeve. Educated in local schools, she has lived in Ludlow for many years. She was an active and faithful member of Union Church of Christ, and had served as a Sunday School Teacher, a member of their Ladies Aid Society, and had served as a member of the Holly Fair Committee, and was also a past chairman. Dorothy was also a Past Matron of the James W. Hannum Chapter 150 of the Order of the Easter Star. She was the widow of Harold R. Peacey who died September 23, 2012. She is survived by her children, Thomas Peacey of Ware, MA Carol Rodrigues and Diane Peacey of Ludlow. Her sister of Barbara Arduino of Wilbraham, MA Grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 8. Also survived by extended family members and friends. Sadly she was predeceased by a son David Peacey who died June 7, 1996.
