Claire B. (Sorel) Charbonneau

Claire B. (Sorel) Charbonneau 83 of Ludlow died peacefully Wednesday September 4, 2013 in Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ware, MA August 27, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Lucia (Roy) Sorel. Educated in local schools, she has lived in Ludlow for many years. She was a faithful Communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Parish. Claire loved spending time with her family, and will be sadly missed by her bingo friends. She was the widow of John Charbonneau who died in 1996. She is survived by her children, Dana Charbonneau, Denise Stuart, and Yvette Charbonneau all of Ludlow, Ronald Charbonneau and his wife Wendy of West Springfield, Janine Dunlea and her husband Peter of Chicopee, and Lisa Charbonneau of Ellington, CT. Grandmother of Kristine, Jessica, James, Jeffrey, Tyler, Mallarie, Rene, John, Seth, and Charlotte. Great-grandmother of Allison, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Damian, Lilly, Skarlit, and Violet. Sister of Bernard Sorel of Ware, Edward Sorel of Gilbertville, Cecile Chapdelaine, Rachel Sorel, and Yvonne Vadnais, and Madeleine Cebula all of Ware, and Lorraine Forgit of Spencer, and Sylvia Demaio of Belchertown. Also survived by extended family members and friends. Sadly she was pre-deceased by brothers Roland and Raymond Sorel.
