Arlene F. (Rybak) Pelczar

Arlene F. (Rybak) Pelczar, of Ludlow, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2012 in Baystate Medical Center. Arlene was born on September 3, 1932 and raised in Whitinsville.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Ann Rybak. She leaves behind, her husband and love of her life, John Pelczar; her three daughters and their husbands, Debra and Ronald Sciascia of Spencer, Susan and Arthur Stamatien of Oakdale, CT, Nancy and Anthony DeCaro of Ludlow; grandchildren Kristen George and fiancé Wellington Luiz, Sherilyn and husband Mark DiMeco, Joseph DeCaro and girlfriend Allie Locicero, Alissa DeCaro and Alex Stamatien; great-granddaughter Aubrey DeCaro; brother Chester Rybak and wife Sally Rybak of Northbridge; also survived by extended family members and friends.
She is a graduate of Northbridge High School and enjoyed working with numbers. She worked for a number of years at Whitinsville Savings Bank and was also employed for many years as the bookkeeper for the family-owned businesses of J&S Tool & Dye Co. Inc. of Ludlow and also Ludlow Appliance. She was a Communicant of Christ the King Church.
Her greatest hobby was cooking for her family and she also cherished continuing the family traditions. Her favorite day of the year was Christmas. The Polish Christmas “Wiglia” has always been a special holiday, which she made so memorable to all her family.
