Anne P. (Janule) Raccis, 91 of East Longmeadow, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Born December 14, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Rogers) Janule.
Anne graduated from New Town High School in Queens, NY and attended business school in New York City. She married Connie Raccis on August 1, 1942 and together they shared 72 years. A communicant of St. Cecilias Church in Wilbraham, Anne was devoted to her faith and her family. Anne enjoyed dancing, traveling and golf. Her greatest joy was her family.
Anne is survived by her loving husband Connie Raccis; two sons Thomas Raccis and his wife Gail of Sarasota, FL and David Raccis and his wife Michelle of Wilbraham; two daughters Patricia Maingot of Vero Beach, FL and Eileen Raccis of Warrenton, OR. She also leaves eight grandchildren; Christine Cammelieri of Appleton, ME; Carolyn Day of Mamaroneck, NY; Kathleen Edwards of Chicago,IL; John Fee of Chicago, IL; Thomas Raccis Jr. of Sarasota, FL; Michelle Dolan of Riverview, FL; Lanelle Raccis and David Raccis of Wilbraham, MA along with seven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Annes Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 9:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the St. Cecilias Church, Main St, Wilbraham, MA. Rites of Committal will follow at 1:00 PM in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.

Our family will miss Anne Raccis dearly. Her laughter and all around social personality is what we admired about her. Our family's (Osowiecki/ Raccis) have spent many holidays and family events together. We will remember Anne and her family in our prayers. She's a special part of our lives.
