Abilio Pinto 77 of Ludlow died Sunday August 4, 2013 in the care and comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Portugal August 8, 1935 son of the late Eduardo and Emerenciana (Costa) Pinto. A Communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, he was a long time employee of Uniroyal Corp. He was a member of the Gremio Luisitano Club and the Portuguese American Citizens Club. Abilio loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was a member of the Swift River Sportsmen’s Club, The Ludlow Fish and Game Club, the Fairview Fish and Game Club, and the Oregon Sportsmen’s Club. He is survived by his wife Maria (Dores) Pinto, Sons Victor Pinto and his wife Colleen of Holyoke, MA, Vinny Pinto and his wife Bianca of Brazil, Edward Pinto and his wife Paula of Ludlow, MA and his daughter Rosemary Ribeiro and her husband Jorge of Ludlow, MA Brother of Ernesto Pinto, Eliza Borges, and Celeste Rodrigues all of Brazil. Cherished grandfather of Gabriela, Ciana, Kim, Samantha, Marissa, Cody, and Jessica. Great grandfather of Nina and Peyton. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be Thursday August 8, 2013 with family and friends gathering at 8:45 AM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home 64 Sewall St. Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church Windsor St. Ludlow at 10 AM. Rites of Committal will follow in Island Pond Cemetery.
