General Price List
These prices are effective as of July 1, 2005, but are subject to change without notice. While our fees are considered reasonable and quite competitive, we pride ourselves on our superior facilities, the quality of our services, and the willingness to serve those who have entrusted their loved ones into our care.
This is a Funeral Home, Family, Relatives, Friends, & Neighbors, gather here to commemorate the life & death of a loved one.
Many are reunited - and memories some sad, some joyful are enshrined in their hearts, but most of all love prevails simply by your presence.
Your commemorative gifts take many forms, but most importantly your prayerful thoughts & your being here provide Love, Support, Comfort, & Hope to the bereaved family. Our Funeral Home, and its caring staff, is here to serve you as we would be served during this period, in which God has called your loved one home to Eternal Rest.
ITEMIZED SELECTIONS
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement that you select will include a charge for basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services selected. This list does not include prices for certain items you may ask us to buy for you, such as paid newspaper notices, certified copies of the death certificate, or crematory service. The prices for those items will be shown on your bill or the statement of funeral goods and services you selected.
BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF.....$ 1,750.00
Our fee for the basic service of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, consultation with family and responsible parties before, during, and after the arrangement conference, arrangement of funeral, preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits, recording vital statistics, composition and submission of local obituary notice, and coordination with those that provide other portions of the funeral (e.g., clergy, cemetery, crematory, vault company, and others as required). Also included in this charge are overhead expenses concerning our facilities, such as professional licensing, parking lot and grounds, record keeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
EMBALMING.....$ 525.00
Includes the use of Massachusetts registered embalming preparation room in compliance with Federal EPA, OSHA, and most recent medical waste regulations. This fee also includes a Massachusetts Certified Embalmer to perform embalming procedure. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.
DRESSING, CASKETING, COSMETOLOGY, HAIRCARE......$225.00
OTHER PATIENT CARE....$ 195.00
Washing and disinfection of patient in lieu of embalming.(Temporary sanitizing required only when no embalming is performed.) Includes dressing of patient and placement in casket/cremation container.
VISITATION(Per Hour).......$ 100.00
Our services include use of facilities, setup, display of floral arrangements, parking lot assistance, and professional staff supervision and attendance during the visitation. This fee of $100.00 will be charged for each hour of visitation time scheduled.
FUNERAL SERVICE....$525.00
Our services include professional staff coordination and supervision of funeral ceremony at funeral home and/or church, or other facility, as well as setup and use of facilities. Also included are burial or graveside services on the same day as the funeral. Based on a three-hour limit.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES AVAILABLE
MEMORIAL SERVICE IN OUR FACILITY.......$ 425.00
Our services include professional staff coordination and supervision of the memorial service, and setup and use of facilities for memorial service. Based on a two-hour limit.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE.......$395.00
Our services include professional staff coordination and supervision of the graveside service, and equipment necessary. This fee applies when burial does not occur immediately following a funeral service. This applies to both full and cremation burials, and spring burials. Based on two hour limit.
HEARSE FOR TRANSFER......$325.00
Transfer to funeral home within a 25 mile service radius. Additional miles outside local service radius, $2.00 per mile, one way.
AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT within a 25-mile service radius, add $2.00 per mile, one way outside local radius.

ALTERNATIVE SERVICE OPTIONS.........Immediate Burial $1,525.00
This charge includes local transfer of deceased to funeral home, preparation of the deceased other than embalming, facilities for shelter of remains before burial, local transportation to the cemetery, obtaining and filing necessary authorizations and permits (not permit fees), basic services of funeral director and staff.
DIRECT CREMATION NO SERVICES...............$1,395.00
This charge includes local transfer of deceased to funeral home, verification of identity of deceased, inventory of personal belongings, use of facilities for shelter of remains before cremation (minimum of 48 hours), local transportation to medical examiners office and to the crematory, obtaining and filing necessary authorizations and permits (not permit fees), obtaining cremated remains from crematory, and basic services of funeral director and staff.
FORWARDING DECEASED TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME NO SERVICES $1,295.00
This charge includes local transfer of deceased to funeral home, basic services of funeral director and staff, embalming, obtaining and filing necessary authorizations and permits, (not permit fees), use of facilities, and local transportation to shipping agent.
RECEIVING DECEASED FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME - NO SERVICES $1,575.00
This charge includes temporary shelter of deceased, transportation of deceased to place of final disposition, and basic services of funeral director and staff.
